The Tessa Horan Memorial Fund
Tessa Horan’s memorial funds will be under the umbrella of a 501(C)3 tax deductible charitable account. The fund is known as “The Global Mountain Fund” and operates out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The work that The Mountain Fund does is very compatible with what Tessa would have wanted for her own mission in the world. The Mountain Fund is exemplary in the dreams that we will continue to support in Tessa’s name. The Fund searches for support doing charitable work in Nepal, Peru and Central Asia. When Tessa graduated from high school her gift from her extended family was to travel in India and Nepal. This area helped springboard her awareness into what Third World countries might need for their young people. Tessa’s dreams have a marriage with The Mountain Fund that will fulfill the visions of her hopes and dreams. Tessa’s committee, which includes her parents, godparents and brother, is honored to be associated with the future of giving with The Global Mountain Fund.
Please be advised, anyone who would like to support The Tessa Horan Foundation and/or The Global Mountain Fund may do so by PayPal (www.paypal.com), credit card, E-Check or check. All donors will receive immediate e-mail receipts for their donations and the committee will be informed by e-mail of the donation. The funds will then directly be placed in The Tessa Horan Foundation and/or The Global Mountain Fund.
